The Western Model “D” is the most recent innovation of our spider cone guitar. The top is made of figured anagre and the sides are walnut. The top, back and fretboard are all bound with maple/rosewood “rope” binding. The back is made of exotic quarter-matched walnut burl. The square walnut neck has an ebony fretboard that is inlaid with white mother of pearl “Arrow” markers; the headstock is overlaid with white pearloid in which geometric lines and the National logo have been engraved. The coverplate, with removable strap, is plated with satin finished nickel/chrome. Also available in round neck.
