9:30 Concert features Alvin Youngblood Hart

The Saturday, May 15 Concert features Bob Brozman and Woody Mann

                         Local resophonic guitarists performing during the festival will include regional favorites                    

                          Charlie Parr (Duluth), Joe Price (Iowa), Cam Waters (Rochester), Kari Larson (MaidenRock),         

                                  and Twin Cities’ own Dakota Dave Hull, Jerry Kosak, Baby Grant Johnson and more.

Doors open each night at 6:30 p.m.

Most of the headlining guitarists will teach workshops and master classes on Saturday, May 15.

The 21st Strawberry Festival takes place Memorial Day (sold out) and Labor Day this year. Four days of camping in the redwoods of Yosemite, and over 20 musical acts to here.

RESOPHONIC GUITAR WEEKEND - June 21 – 22, 2002

Acoustic Roots Music Series

Mountain View, Arkansas, is known as the "Folk Music Capital of the World" where every evening, in the town square, local musicians bring their lawn chairs and their musical instruments and gather in small groups to play. The Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View is dedicated to preserving Ozark craft and musical heritage. www.ozarkfolkcenter.com.

National Reso-Phonic Guitars helped sponsor the Resophonic Guitar Weekend at the Ozark Folk Center June 21 — 23, 2002 as part of their American Roots Music Series. There were exhibits, jam sessions, workshops and concerts all about resophonic guitars. Playing their Nationals in concerts and workshops were Robert B. Jones, Catfish Keith and Mike Dowling. There was also a raffle of a National Estralita Deluxe, proceeds of which went to the Mountain View "Music in the Schools" program.
